FlowNet is application in DS which is designed for production measurement engineers to perform static and dynamic flow rate calculations.

Main standards are ISO 5167-1, 2, 3 and 4 for differential pressure (DP) based flow metering systems. The regional equivalent standards are: ГОСТ 8.586.2, ГОСТ 8.586.3 and ГОСТ 8.586.4.

For non-DP flow rate calculations, such as linear flow meters (USM, vortex, turbine) and Coriolis meters, the following methods are used:

• PTCMG-AGA-M – to convert measured hydrocarbon gas mass rates to volumetric rates. Gas properties are calculated based on AGA-8 standard.
• PTCMG-AGA-V – to convert measured hydrocarbon gas volumetric rates to mass rates. Gas properties are calculated based on AGA-8 standard.
• PTCML-API-M – to convert measured liquid mass rates to volumetric rates. CTL and CPL factors are calculated by API MPMS Chapter 11 Section 1 algorithm.
• PTCML-API-V – to convert measured liquid volumetric rates to mass rates. CTL and CPL factors are calculated by API MPMS Chapter 11 Section 1 algorithm

All above calculation modules are also used by mass balance module in near real time mode.
